If you don't feel like having plain wallpaper on the wall, patterned wallpaper offers various possibilities for wall design. The patterns appear classic or modern, subtle or striking, colourful or single-coloured. They correspond to the most different styles and trends. Whether baroque damask, ethno, design, African or country style - patterned wallpapers are available in different styles. The actual pattern also varies from wallpaper to wallpaper. For example, stripes, dots, stars, geometric shapes and flowers are possible.
Patterned wallpapers can be combined as you like. Either the desired motif is combined with a wall covering without a pattern or it is deliberately combined on the wall with another pattern. For this purpose, you can alternately stick a roll or sheet. But be careful: With patterned wallpaper, you should always make sure that the overall picture is harmonious and not too turbulent! It is also important to consider the repeat or patterned approach so that after wallpapering, each strip matches the previous and next strip.
The pattern gives the wallpaper its character. On most wallpapers it is printed. Depending on quality level, type and price, different printing techniques are used. Likewise, patterned wallpapers are available, whose motifs come to life through embossing, textures and reliefs. There are also special tools and special techniques for this production. Paper wallpapers are usually embossed with special rollers under high pressure until the desired pattern is achieved. A particularly high-quality embossing of the pattern wallpaper is possible with the so-called duplex technique. With 3D patterns you can give flat surfaces an amazing depth effect and create sophisticated views, perspectives, surprise effects and optical illusions even on small walls.
