Textile wall coverings are thermally insulating and sound dampening - all the more, the denser the textile. Some manufacturers also have special textile wallpapers in the collection that have special surfaces or coatings and are therefore stain resistant, flame retardant, anti-static or anti-allergic. Hence, the exclusive wall coverings are also suitable for rooms with superior or special needs.
Many customers want to buy textile wall coverings for hotels, meeting and conference rooms, bank branches, restaurants or noble lounges and bars. But also for discerning private households, textile wall coverings are perfectly suitable. They can be used to cover a large area or specifically on one part of a wall to create an eye-catcher and can also be combined with other high-quality wallpaper types such as non-woven wallpapers or structured wallpapers. In order to check the feel of the wallpaper in advance you can ask to be sent textile wallpaper samples to touch.

Because of the complex production process, a particularly high quality also affects the price. In our online shop, you will find high-quality textile wallpapers from the collections of renowned manufacturers. You can also use special offers and savings opportunities when you want to buy excellent textile wallpaper and save money in the process.
There are many types of textile wallpapers. During the manufacturing process, yarns, fibres, and fabrics in a variety of colours and designs are glued onto the carrier material. As a basis, different paper types can be used. The paper as carrier material provides for stability and support of the textile surface, which is why the kind of paper is an important quality feature. Depending on the pattern, edition, and price, single-layered or multi-layered smooth paper or crepe paper are used.
A multi-layered paper base has the advantage that it is cleavable: if the wallpaper should be removed again later, the textile layer and the upper layer of paper are easily removed, while the bottom layer of paper is still stuck to the wall and forms a smooth, clean and stable surface. So, when you remove a cleavable textile wallpaper it leaves a clean lining paper which will be of good use for the next wallpapering.
As upper materials there are used textile fibres with high brightness and high staple or fibre length. This can be natural fibres, or man-made fibres, depending on the manufacturer, collection, and design. Preferred natural fibres are linen or flax fibres, jute, wool, cotton and silk. Common man-made fibres for the textile wallpaper manufacturing are viscose, polyacrylonitrile (PAN) and PEs (polyester fibres). As yarn and fabrics, they use filling yarn, bouclé yarn or loop yarn as well as different effect yarns (e.g. knot yarn, knop yarn or flame yarn). Through the incorporation of fibrous webs or fine foam materials, the insulating properties of the wallpaper can be increased.
Glass fibre wallpapers are also textile wall coverings. Because of their robust features, they are particularly well suited for highly stressed walls and rooms. The fibre glass fabric is highly washable, light-resistant, flame-resistant, and dirt-resistant. In addition, it conceals uneven surfaces, holds on almost every wall and is shock resistant, dimensionally stable, rot proof and can be painted over at will. For this reason, glass fibre wallpapers are highly durable, versatile and economical wall coverings.
When wallpapering textile wallpapers, you do not necessarily need special paste. The low-cost standard wallpaper paste is sufficient for many models, and only for warp textile wallpapers a special adhesive is required. However, if you hang them with the classical wallpapering technique, textile wall coverings have a soaking time that is three times longer than the soaking time of normal paper wallpapers or woodchip wallpapers. Let the strips rest for at least a quarter or even for half an hour, after pasting them. Then they are perfectly prepared to be put on the wall.
